Day 1: ARRIVE IN HA NOI

Upon arrival in Ha Noi, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel for check in. You have free time to visit 36 Old Quarter streets, Hang Be market- a typical Vietnamese day market and enjoy a traditional water puppet show in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: HA NOI – LAO CAI (B, L)

Depart from your hotel at 8:00AM,The day commences with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex (Mausoleum, Museum, the late venerated leader private residence at House on Stilts, followed by the wooden One Pillar Pagoda).Then visit Temple of Literature. Lunch in a wonderful restaurant.

The afternoon is dedicated to the discovery of Ethnology Museum which will give an overview of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam who you will meet in Sapa town. After that, you will take a fascinating 1 hour tour of Ha Noi’s Old Quarter by Cyclo. The history of the Old Quarter dates back some 2000 years with it’s 36 narrow streets each named after the trade or merchandise made and sold there. Free time for dinner then transfer to Ha Noi railway station to take a night train to Lao Cai(soft sleeper with air-conditioner). Overnight on the train.

Day 3: BAC HA – SAPA – BAN HO – THANH PHU – SIN CHAI (B, L, D)

Car pick up at Lao Cai Station and depart to Sapa for full day trekking. The day commences with a jeep ride to the trekking route. The trek starts by walking through the incredibly scenic “Ban Ho” valley. Here you will have the opportunity to visit and explore the wooden houses, which traditionally belong to the Tay ethnic minority. You will then continue to walk to Thanh Phu village where you stop for lunch in a local house. After lunchtime, you head to Sin Chai village of Red Dao minority where the night will be spent in bamboo huts. You will be attracted by the wonderful hospitable atmosphere of the Red Dao. Overnight in homestay.

Day 4: SIN CHAI – NAM NHIU – MY SON – NAM TOONG – SAPA (B, L)

You start the trek today by walking downhill toward the My Son village, which belongs to the Xafo ethnic minority, one of the smallest group’s ethnic in Northern Vietnam. After one and a half hours walk to the Red Dao village of Nam Toong, lunch will be prepared and served. After lunch you will descend back to Ban Ho village, where you will be able to enjoy a swim at the nearby beautiful waterfall of La Vie. You will then ascend to Su Pan, where the car is waiting to take you back to Sapa. Overnight in Sapa town.

Day 1: ARRIVE IN VIENTIANE

Arrive in Vientiane. Our guide and car pick up and transfer to hotel for check in. You will visit some ancient monuments in the capital: the central market (Talad Sao), Wat Sisaket monastery, Imperial Wat Phra Keo temple and That Luang. Overnight in Vientaine.

Day 2: VIENTIANE – LUANG PRABANG (B, L)

Transfer to airport to take flight to Luang Prabang. Arrive in Luang Prabang, take a boat along the Mekong River to visit scared Pak-Ou grotto, stop over to visit a few villages on the bank of river. Take a picnic lunch. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: LUANG PRABANG – HA NOI (B, L)

Visit ancient imperial with famous temples: Wat May, Wat Vixoun, Wat Xieng Thong and Phu Si hill. Transfer to airport to take flight to Ha Noi from Luang Prabang (depend on daily flight). Arrive in Ha Noi, guide and car pick up at airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 4: HA NOI – HA LONG (B, L, D)

Enjoy the interesting 3-hour drive to Ha Long where along the way you will see rice fields and daily Vietnamese village life. You will then be transferred by tender to a luxury Junk and enjoy a welcome cocktail. A Vietnamese set menu lunch with fresh local seafood will be served on board while you embark on a cruise into the bay to see the incredible karst formations. We arrive by boat at Bat Cave (Hang Doi) where you will choose from optional tour program: visit local fishing village by tender or visit cave by rowing sampan or relax with beauty services or board. A Vietnamese dinner is served on board. Overnight on the boat.

Day 5: HA LONG – HA NOI – HUE (B)

At leisure or enjoy Tai Chi instruction and sunrise on the sundeck. Depart by boat to Surprise Cave. An brunch will be served from 8:30AM to 10:00AM . We will then start cruising in Halong Bay while you relax and take pictures. The cruise returns to Hon Gai, arrive in Halong at about 11.30. Back to Ha Noi around 16pm. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 6: HA NOI – TAY PHUONG & THAY PAGODA – HUE (B, L)

In the morning, take a half day city tour to visit: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature. Enjoy lunch at one of Hanoi best tables then visiting 2 beautiful pagodas surrounding Ha Noi: Tay Phuong and Thay Pagoda. Return to Ha Noi and drive directly to Noi Bai airport to take flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7: HUE – HOI AN (B, L)

In the morning, we will be visiting the Forbidden Purple City, where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. We then continue to take a morning boat trip on the romantic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Ming Mang and Tu Duc tombs. Following lunch, enjoy the scenic ride from Hue to Hoi An, stop to visit Cham museum and Marble mountains on the way. Free time in the ancient Hoi An town. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8: HOI AN (B, L)

After breakfast at your hotel, depart for a half-day cooking class at Tra Que, a charming village which supplies vegetables to kitchens all over the town. Spend the morning working with the villagers as they show you the ways to harvest and prepare fresh vegetables for meals. Cook a lunch of Vietnamese dishes with your hosts before enjoying the fruits of your labor. Return to Hoi An for walking tour of the ancient town to visit the former merchant’s houses, the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, ancient pagodas, temples, the colourful market and shopping around. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9: HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH (B)

Free time on the beach or shopping around. Transfer to Da Nang airport to take flight to You have free time to visit the central quarters of Saigon with many buildings constructed during French colonialism, the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and Ben Thanh market. Continue to visit China town of Saigon, stopping at Cho Lon, Binh Tay market, Thien Hau pagoda, and Ngoc Hoang temple. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 10: HO CHI MINH – CAN THO (B, L)

Depart to Vinh Long, take a boat to visit along Tien Giang river, link upper Mekong Delta, visit Cai Be floating market. On the way, stop over at island to visit ceramic tile factory coconut candy factory and a rice husking business. Have lunch in an orchard garden, then enjoy fruits, home-made honey alcohol, local traditional songs. Continue to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 11: CAN THO – CHAU DOC (B, L)

A boat trip along Mekong Delta, visit Phung Hiep market. Then depart to Chau Doc. Check in hotel (Victoria). Have lunch in local restaurant. Continue to take a cruise on Mekong River to visit fish ponds and Cham village with their mosques. Return to hotel. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 12: CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH (B, L)

Depart to Phnom Penh by boat on Mekong Delta. Arrive Phnom Penh at noon. Check in hotel and have lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, take a half day to visit National museum, Russian market, Independent monument, Wat Ounalom. Overnight in PhnomPenh.

Day 13: PHNOMPENH – SIEMRIEP (B, L)

Transfer to airport, take a flight to Siem Reap. Check in hotel. In the afternoon, visit Banteay Srei temple was built in 11th century. In late afternoon, stop to visit Ta Prohm temple on the way back to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 14: SIEMRIEP (B, L)

After breakfast, visit South gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, terrace of elephant which used to be a base for the king’s grand audience hall, visit terrace of Leper King supposed that it was a terrace housed the royal ceremony. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat. Climb Bakheng hill to have bird’s eye view of sunset, Angkor Wat and Western Baray. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Day 15: SIEMRIEP – DEPARTURE (B)

Free time for go shopping. Car pick up and transfer to airport to take flight back home. Trip ends.

Departure from your hotel at 8:00 AM to Tam Coc, then cycling for 15 minutes on a country road takes you to Thung Nang, a small dock, for 1-hour rowing on sampan boat in the heart of “Inland Ha Long Bay”. Take in the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. Stop for a short rest near a small shrine before returning to the boat and making your way back to the dock (1 hour). Cycle back to Tam Coc village for lunch. Then transfer to Hoa Lu to visit the historic capital of Viet Nam and the famous ancient temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties. Drive back to Ha Noi. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 3: HANOI – HA LONG (B, L, D)

Visit ceramic tile factory, ceramics, coconut candy factory, and a rice husking business, stop to enjoy fruits in the orchards, home–made honey alcohol, local traditional songs or visit famous Bonsai of gaderner Sau Giao, sapling garden of Tam Ho. Transfer to Can Tho after lunch at local garden to visit Ninh Kieu wharf. Overnight on the boat.

Day 9: CAN THO – HO CHI MINH (B, L)

After breakfast, take a boat tour on Mekong River, enjoy splendid sceneries and daily activities on water of the southern villagers, watch from a viewing tower above the tree tops as thousands of egrets and herons arriving to roost in the branches. Visit Cai Rang floating market, orchards and enjoy fruits. After lunch return to Ho Chi Minh. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 10: DEPARTURE (B)

Depending your departure time to explore the city or shop at your leisure until our car picks you up to take you to the airport and take a flight back home. Trip ends.
